About Me

Kadence Roehm is a comic artist and digital illustrator interested in creator-owned comics. She was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, however Kadence currently resides in Savannah, Georgia where she is graduating with her B.F.A in Sequential Art at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Utilizing her background in theatre, Kadence Roehm’s clean line-art, combined with colorful environments, creates vibrant worlds within her work. She creates comics made for those who are done waiting in the wings and ready to take center-stage. Kadence is dedicated to her craft and she ensures quality in all of her projects from the overture to the curtain call.

Additionally, outside of her personal illustration work, she is a staff artist for SCAD Honeydripper where Kadence has participated in their 2024 and 2025 summer zine. She has also contributed to Welded by the Wire’s July 2025 zine. She is also a seasonal caricature artist for Kaman’s Art Shoppe at the Indianapolis Zoo.
Her personal experience has also informed her storytelling. Kadence has worked in numerous positions, including a Christmas elf! All of these positions inspire her to create her own diary comics. She hopes that her work can encourage exploration of creativity at any age.

When Kadence isn’t creating, you can find her belting show tunes, reading, or catching up on the latest ARG project.
